Witness Tree: Seasons of Change with a Century-Old Oak

Join veteran Seattle Times reporter Lynda Mapes for a public presentation during her brief return to Petersham for the launch of her new book, Witness Tree, written during her fellowship at the Harvard Forest in 2014-2015. The book, officially released by Bloomsbury Publishing in April 2017, tells a beautifully chronicled and richly researched story of biology, history, and culture, all from the perspective of one 100-year old red oak tree in Petersham.
