Engineering the World Around Us: Genome Editing and the Environment

Join pgEd as they introduce their newest lesson plan and explore three case studies that illustrate how genetic tools are being used with the goal of addressing environmental issues: reducing toxicity of an important food crop, preventing population decline in an endangered bird species, and preserving the permafrost through de-extinction of the woolly mammoth.
