The Harvard Environmental Lesson Platform (HELP) is a unique digital library that allows Harvard faculty to exchange a wide variety of educational materials related to energy and the environment.

The site serves as a virtual space where faculty can draw on the collective expertise and vetted resources of the diverse Harvard teaching community when seeking quality materials to use in their teaching and outreach—particularly in areas outside their immediate expertise. HELP features a broad and growing spectrum of multimedia resources - videos, graphics, presentation slides, syllabi - including content contributed from dozens of courses and faculty members from across the University.

The HELP site is password-protected and use is restricted to registered Harvard faculty only. If you are a Harvard faculty member whose research interests relate to energy and environment, we encourage you to register for the site and consider what materials you can share with your colleagues.

If you have any questions about the site please contact Jim Clem (
