GlobalFood+
Seven-minute speed talks from leading faculty at BU, Harvard, MIT, and Tufts on agriculture and environmental change, human health and well-being, and the biophysical foundation of global food systems.
The speaker list reflects the range and depth of recent discoveries about agriculture and the environment, food systems, health and well-being in the United States and worldwide. To facilitate communication across different scientific fields and institutions, each speaker is allotted 7 minutes to describe a specific finding in terms of its motivation, method, and results. You can see how this went last year from the 2017 program and videos. This year’s event will include a brief memorial to the life and work of Calestous Juma.
The symposium is open to the public, and will be followed by a reception. Talks will run continuously with snacks and drinks available during the event.
