POSTPONED: MIT Sustainability Summit

MIT's 12th annual Sustainability Summit, “Food for Thought: Leveraging Food for a Sustainable Future," will explore how innovations are changing the way the world produces, transports, stores, consumes and disposes of food. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the food system as a whole, and think about critical policy and business decisions that can advance a community and region’s economic, social and ecological well-being.

The MIT Sustainability Summit is an annual student-led event. Now in its 12th year, the Summit features discussions with academia, industry leaders, and expert practitioners. The day's unique focus and depth of content has led to the Summit's growing prominence, and it routinely sells out its 350-seat capacity. The goal is that attendees will leave with a better understanding of what criteria they should apply when evaluating innovative, food-based solutions for environmental, social and economic sustainability.
