Stephen Gross, New York University; Irene Sotiropoulou, University of Hull; and Roman Gilmintinov, Duke University, will each give a talk relating to "The Ecology of Economic Thought."

Stephen Gross, Associate Professor of History and European Studies, New York University, will present "Energy and Environmental Economics After the Oil Shock: The Rise of Ecological Modernization" with discussants Adam Tooze, Kathryn and Shelby Cullom Davis Professor of History, Department of History, Columbia University and Nathalie Berta, Lecturer in Economics, University of Reims.

Irene Sotiropoulou, Post-Doctoral Research Assistant, University of Hull, will present "Resilience in Context" with discusstants Venus Bivar, Lecturer in Modern History, University of Hull and Troy Vettese, William Lyon Mackenzie King Postdoctoral Fellow, Canada Program.

Roman Gilmintinov, PhD Candidate, History Department, Duke University, will present "Socialist Valuation of Nature: Environmental Regulation and the Development of Political Economy in the Soviet Union, 1965​–​1991" with discussants Guy Oakes, Professor of Economics, Emeritus, Monmouth University and Irene Sotiropoulou, Post-Doctoral Research Assistant, University of Hull.
