Nuclear power accounts for roughly 19% of US electricity production, while providing a significant contribution to global low-carbon generation. There are currently over 440 nuclear power reactors operating worldwide, spanning multiple reactor designs and fuel cycles. This talk will provide an overview of the types of nuclear fission reactors in use today, and the fuels they employ.
