Juan Moreno-Cruz, Associate Professor at the School of Environment, Enterprise and Development and the Canada Research Chair in Energy Transitions at the University of Waterloo; Giacomo Marangoni, Assistant professor in the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Milan; and Joe Aldy, Professor of the Practice of Public Policy at Harvard HKS, will discuss "Solar Geoengineering in IAMs and Optimal Policy."

Harvard's Solar Geoengineering Research Program aims to establish an ongoing forum to debate policy issues that relate to solar geoengineering technologies. The session will feature a presentation followed by group conversations framed by a discussant; readings will be distributed in advance. Seminars will be held in a hybrid in-person/Zoom format.
