John Holdren, science advisor to President Obama and a professor at Harvard Kennedy School, attended the first Earth Day in California in 1970 and continues to tackle major environmental challenges, including his ongoing work in the Arctic. Jim Stock, Vice Provost for Climate and Sustainability, will share his perspective in imagining how Harvard can play a role in the work ahead. And Terry Tempest Williams, a writer-in-residence at Harvard Divinity School, will add her insights and connections to the many ways that humans engage with the Earth.
