Missy Holbrook, Charles Bullard Professor of Forestry in the Department of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology and Interim Director of the Harvard Forest, will present "It's Hard to Be a Tree!".

Missy Holbrook, Charles Bullard Professor of Forestry in the Department of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology and Interim Director of the Harvard Forest, will present "It's Hard to Be a Tree!".

Missy Holbrook is the Charles Bullard Professor of Forestry in the Department of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology and Interim Director of the Harvard Forest. Her research focuses on the movement of water and carbon in trees. She has made significant contributions to the field of plant physiology, including key concepts in plant hydraulics. At Harvard, Professor Holbrook teaches plant biology, global food systems, and plant physiology, and heads the undergraduate program in Environmental Science and Public Policy.
