"Climate Populism: The anti-elite backlash against the green transition" with Robert Z. Lawrence, Dustin Tingley, and Elaine Buckberg.

Public discontent against the green transition is rising and populist movements are catalyzing it. The panel will discuss the implications of the phenomenon globally.

This hybrid seminar will be given by Robert Z. Lawrence, Albert L. Williams Professor of International Trade and Investment at Harvard Kennedy School; Dustin Tingley, Professor of Government at Harvard; and Elaine Buckberg, Senior Fellow at the Salata Institute for Climate and Sustainability at Harvard and former chief economist at GM. It will take place in Rubenstein 414AB for those who wish to attend in person. Others may join us remotely via Zoom. Lunch will be served.Copies of Prof Tingley's book, "Uncertain Futures: How to Unlock the Climate Impass" will be raffled off to those attending in person.​M-RCBG welcomes individuals with disabilities to participate in its programs.
